A Few of My Favorite Things. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Seven Sacred Seasons: Creation Season. This wallpaper was done by Jeff Nelson, not me, but it was too brilliant not to include here. This prayer has been placed over a photo of one of the Gathering's community, so we could pray for her while she was abroad, living in New Zealand. The photo was taken by Nathan Waddell, and is one of my favorite prayer slides. The wallpaper for the last Creation Season we celebrated at the Gathering. The above image show...

Gotthammer: Mike Perschon's Online Asylum: October 2013
http://gotthammer.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
A Few of My Favorite Things. Tuesday, October 08, 2013. Sing me to Sleep. As I write these words, my cousin is dying. Earlier today, she underwent surgery meant to save her life, one of many she has endured in a life that has always been threatened by fragile health. The surgery could not save her; my uncle is at her bedside for one final vigil. Last year, I learned that a high-school friend lost her husband. This past week, she lost one of her ties to him: her mother-in-law passed away. And yet I do it ...

http://gotthammer.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
A Few of My Favorite Things. Saturday, September 17, 2011. Seven Sacred Seasons: Gathering Season. Unlike the other Sacred Seasons, Gathering Season never had a strong thematic core. It was up to the volunteer worship team, decor team, media crew, and speaker to decide on an appropriate theme. Some years, we had a number of speakers and musicians, to help new people get a fuller flavor for the Gathering. Year of the Rabbit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chronicles of the Magi. There's a right broad: The autumn of spies: Gail Carriger & the Lit Up Ball
http://rightbroad.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-autumn-of-spies-gail-carriger-lit.html
There's a right broad. Sunday, November 9, 2014. The autumn of spies: Gail Carriger and the Lit Up Ball. Autumn is in the air and the time is for spies? Apparently so, judging by book calendar. The library commuter club meets November 20th to discuss John Le Carre's "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy". I finished reading it quite early to my surprise. I would be interested to comparing it against the filmed versions to see how they tightened the narrative. Favorite spy methods seem to involve something deadly...

Mail You Art Project. Saturday, October 19, 2013. I have spent the past week showing the Artist's Shuffle in LA, updating my Etsty Store, posting the official videos of the Parh To Extinction and decorating for halloween. It just happened to be my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better day. Halloween got in my blood this season! I am so excited and decorating my yard with my imagination. So far we have a 10 foot spider web covered in blood and baby shoes, a 14 foot grimreaper, 10 ghosts hang...
