November Rains: Locked and Loaded
http://lambton101.blogspot.com/2014/05/locked-and-loaded.html
A semi-coherant collection of ramblings, misdealings, and Tom Foolery experienced in pursuit of Great Lakes Steelhead. Thursday, May 01, 2014. Well the time has come. It's been a a little bit in the planning but she is finally before us. The return to the Situk.Yakutat Alaska. Hopefully things all come together with the weather and the river water levels and such. Sure would be nice to tie in a couple crazy 40" slabs like Sean Donahue did last week. All things aside it should be yet another epic trip.

Yakutat at one time had the only railroad in the U.S. built to carry raw fish. It was retired in 1949 and is on display in the park entering town. Wrangell-St. El...

ReelTales A Fly Fishing Journal: March 2013
http://reeltalesaflyfishingjournal.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
ReelTales A Fly Fishing Journal. Tuesday, 12 March 2013. It Was A Long Wait. The plain truth, I was waiting patiently to get out for some Steelhead. The thought of getting the NRX out was driving me nuts. Several times this Winter I rigged it up and would sit in the living room holding it and dreaming of hooking up. I know, pretty bad eh? Finally an opportunity presented itself and I would find myself heading up the familiar stretch of Hwy 21. Posted by Tony Nardi. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A semi-coherant collection of ramblings, misdealings, and Tom Foolery experienced in pursuit of Great Lakes Steelhead. Monday, October 13, 2014. There is no better way to end a Steelheading season than on a high note like the AK trip but after that had played out it was sincerely time to check out for a while.
