Therefore, I always make an effort to read books in the language in which they were originally written. This is probably why I haven’t been able to finish. I’ve been teaching a lot, and I just finished my last term paper about a month ago. I only have one term paper and my bachelor’s thesis, and then I am finally finished with my first degree in Germany. This weekend, the move from Mainz to Sandhausen will take place; Wednesday was my last night at my apartment in Mainz. Today, Boyfriend and I went to the residents’ office in Sandhausen and got me registered here as a resident. So, what happens when you move within Germany as an expat? Then, they’ll sign and stamp the registration form. Finally, they’ll put a new address sticker on your residence permit.
