There are some movies that, had I known a bit beforehand,I would not have. Driven a vehicle* to go see them because the aftermath is so disorienting, or it would have been. Helpful to have walked before doing something normal. Given what I've read so far, I have picked a theater that I can park and then walk to. It sounds like that will be the right choice.

Jan 28th, 2006 @ 06:59 pm. The Book of Heavy Metal. This is hilarious. Dream Evil. Is a heavy metal Spinal Tap. This song (and from samples I've heard, the album too, The Book of Heavy Metal. Is packed full of clichés in the lyrics, singing styles, and guitar riffs. Thankfully they know it and are making fun of heavy metal goofiness while simultaneously paying homage to the genre. On this day I've set aside to celebrate the marvelous specter of a black man on the verge, I channel surf past CNN and am brought hurtling back to the real world- a commercial populated by sweaty, grunting Negro b-ballers, playing a pickup game with a pitcher of Kool-Aid.
