Monday, May 11, 2015. I complained, "I haven't brushed my hair or my teeth, I don't have on any makeup, and I have on dad's shirt.". As soon as the words left my month, I realized how incredibly lame they were. I don't think Audrey heard me. I hope she didn't, because not wanting to have your picture taken when you are having fun and doing something cool just because you don't have on makeup and happen to look like a sloppy truck driver is really stupid. Turner Center for the Arts. Tuesday, October 02, 2012. Less than two miles from my house and in existence since 2006 is Turner Center for the Arts. An open studio studio space catering to adults with disabilities. Yesterday I toured the Maplewood studios with Executive Director, Nate Larson. Sunday, July 27, 2014. I bought this pretty rough headboard at an estate sale in May. It was on a Sunday and half priced at $10. It had a back to it, dangling on by staples, and a lot of shellac. This weekend I sanded it. Then I gave it a couple of coats of bright turquoise paint. I used some fabric and batting that I had in the basement and padded the back piece.
