Mathew and I were planning a chill ultra low key Labor Day weekend and I was DANG surprised when I got a call from my dad Saturday before labor day saying he and Chris were getting ready to come up here! He made sure he wasn't imposing first and my answer to that was "get up here! So Sunday afternoon my dad and Chris got here! It was so nice to see them, it's been way too long! They taught Mathew thumbs up, which sometimes turns into a gun so we still need to practice a bit!

We had so much fun while they were here! It was great to have a house with lots of room too. I had only met Bre once, the last time I was in Salt Lake, and I thought I liked her then! She is so awesome! My brother and her have such a sweet relationship, they're perfect for each other (no pressure Mike, but you MUST marry this girl!

OK, so our trip to the Big Apple was actually last summer but its worthy of a blog update since it was our first trip without the kids. ever! We packed a lot in during the trip including; Serendipity, The World Trade Center site and museum, The Statue of Liberty, The Jekyll and Hyde Club, Times Square, Central Park, shopping on Canal St. in Chinatown, and getting lost in Queens- got on the subway heading in the wrong direction, oops, sorry!
