Stephan's homepage - svg. SVG is a vector graphics format based on XML to describe two-dimensional graphics. As part of my work in radar data visualisation, I started to try out SVG as a graphics format. I never used it for this purpose but it came in useful later in my visualisation work of meteorological plots with Magics. It is one of the new output formats I am implementing in Magics. I have worked with SVG for some years now. For small drawings, I normally use Inkscape. File containing the line.

Stephan's homepage - opengl 2d. Much is written about how to program three-dimensional scenes with OpenGL. Often OpenGL is only used for two-dimensional visualisation to take advantage of the accelerated graphics hardware. Here is a summary of how best OpenGL can be used for 2D displays. By default OpenGL uses a perspective transformation. GlMatrixMode (GL PROJECTION) glLoadIdentity () glOrtho (0, XSize, YSize, 0, 0, 1) glMatrixMode (GL MODELVIEW). Other tips in short. Use 2D functions ending with 2f.
