Stephan's homepage - google earth. Using Google Earth is pretty easy, but I found the following key shortcuts very helpful:. View adjusts to north. Full screen mode on/off. Saves view in JPG. To develop your own. The standard tool to compress (zip) archives under Linux is gzip. Unfortunatly, gzip does not work with generating KMZs. To compress KMLs into KMZ you need Minizip. Instead. Stephan's homepage - svg. SVG is a vector graphics format based on XML to describe two-dimensional graphics. As part of my work in radar data visualisation, I started to try out SVG as a graphics format. I never used it for this purpose but it came in useful later in my visualisation work of meteorological plots with Magics. It is one of the new output formats I am implementing in Magics. I have worked with SVG for some years now. For small drawings, I normally use Inkscape. File containing the line.

Often OpenGL is only used for two-dimensional visualisation to take advantage of the accelerated graphics hardware. Here is a summary of how best OpenGL can be used for 2D displays. By default OpenGL uses a perspective transformation. GlMatrixMode (GL PROJECTION) glLoadIdentity () glOrtho (0, XSize, YSize, 0, 0, 1) glMatrixMode (GL MODELVIEW). Other tips in short.
