Sabrina's Educational Techno Beats: TPACK Report
http://educationaltechnobeats.blogspot.com/2009/12/tpack-report.html
Sabrina's Educational Techno Beats. Tuesday, December 1, 2009. December 9, 2009 at 2:56 PM. You did a great job using Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Ive seen people use Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. Those games are so much fun and can help you review concepts that youve already taught. I think that even though your students werent using the technology hands-on, it was a great idea that they were writing down their answers. This made them accountable during the game. Excellent job! Thursday, December 10, 2009. I choose to read Setting Family Standards for Entertainment by Carla Dalton, Ensign, June 2001, 26–29. I really like when Sister Dalton compares media sources to baby-sitters. She says that they become close companions who repeatedly teach our children to follow value systems that don’t always match our own. We have to watch and guide what type of entertainment is entering our homes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Bouquet of Pencils. If All the World was Apple-Pie.

Student at BYU: Week 9 - Motivation
http://frombrazil-lily.blogspot.com/2009/11/week-9-motivation.html
Monday, November 23, 2009. Week 9 - Motivation. Expectancies have everything to do to influence student motivation to learn because if one does not believe in oneself capacity to learn, it is most likely he/she will not be able to learn. So, for one to be motivated to learn, expectancy is one of the keys. Value also influences student’s motivation to complete academic tasks. It will depend if the student is extrinsically or intrinsically motivated to complete the task. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
