A look inside my brain. Daddy Date at I.H.O.P. Several weeks ago, we drove past an IHOP. Lauren saw the sign and asked what the letters stood for. When I told her that it stood for the “International House of Pancakes,” she immediately asked to go there–right that moment. I told her that I’d take her there on a date sometime, and right away Megan said “take me too! 8221; Then Megan started talking about how much she loved the blue roof. (Blue is her favorite color, of course.). That would be awesome!

A look inside my brain. We’re going home! We just talked with the attending neurologist, and things are looking like the episode is related to complicated migraines. (Which is what we were hoping for.) No more tests today, and Lauren will get to play in the snow. Thanks so much for all your prayers and support! We started out talking about her favorite kinds of cookies, (oreos) and then she started listing her favorite games, and also coming up with ideas for new games. Monday, September 29, 2008. It's 9:30 am and my kids are eating lollipops shaped like a baby bottle nipple and dipping it inside the "bottle" full of powdered pixie dust candy. After surgery for a biopsy, it was confirmed. Eric had cancer. We decided to get legally married so that I would be Eric's "next of kin" (for medical/legal purposes) and so that he could be covered under my health insurance. Me: I was wondering if I could leave a little early today. Boss: Sure, what's going on? Boss: {Shrieking} You're getting married!
