He eventually realizes that we can't understand and either laughs or sighs really big and just stops. We don't know whether to laugh or cry.it's hard to witness. Holy Diver.update on Dad #6. So, it's been several months since I've posted an update on Dad, and that's just.well, unacceptable. All of the therapy has helped Dad considerably. He can get around fairly well, although very slowly and with calculated moves. He can feed himself and certainly hasn't lost his appetite, but that's just a Thurmond thing.we love to eat! Tim Hewlett.a visit long overdue. 10 years ago I answered one of the most horrific phone-calls of my life. It was my sister, Lara, on the other end of the line. Through tears and murmurs it was all she could do to get the words "Tim Hewlett was killed" across the line. My heart sank.I didn't know how to react.
