Feel special because despite my mounting mountain that threatens to crush us all in its inforgiving weight and bulk, taking with it much of my poorly deserved sanity and dwindling patience, I choose to converse with you. So I went to see my eye doctor (opthalmologist I think it was) this morning at something like 7:20 am. I wasn't there for very long, but in those few minutes, I was moved up from whenever the hospital calls me, to the next in line. So I now have an appointment with the surgery at the VG hospital for Monday at 11am! So it's a 4-day week for me next week! Links to this post. Monday, October 27, 2008.

So we got the quote for the fence from the guy who said $10,000 to give us a quote on a chain link fence (4 ft high) and it was much more respectable. Jamie is very sincere about the Army Cadets. He is totally enthralled with the stories of Grandfather's service in the Armed Forces. I know this a Remembrance Day Picture, but it still seems appropriate for Canada Day. He makes me so proud. As do all my children and grandchildren. Something went right somewhere.
