L.A. Is My Beat: December 2005
http://ellenbloom.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 31, 2005. What a great idea! Instead of the usual bar crawl, Natalie, Carla and I went on a YARN CRAWL on Wednesday. Of course, I only took one picture the whole day 'cause I was way too involved with petting the yarn at our various stops. We loved the idea of the little yarn tree in the window at Wildfiber in Santa Monica! If you want to see pix of Natalie and Carla using their newly bought yarn, check out Crazy Aunt Purl's blog. In a dark purple. We were starting to get hungry, but w...

http://jensknitsandknonsense.blogspot.com/2010/03/its-so-hard-to-say-goodbye.html
Jen's knits and knonsense. Thursday, March 25, 2010. It's so hard to say goodbye. Last night my wonderful, fabulous, fantanstic Texas knitting friends threw me a going away party. I figured we'd all get together and knit like always and I'd bring a cake, but I was surprised by many sweet gifts too. It was wonderful! I will be coming back to visit (probably for a long weekend this winter when I'm freezing my ass off in snowy MI) and I hope we can all get together when I come down. I will miss you all!

Few words on this night of joy and peace. A glittery, golden Eiffel Tower stands in the center of the table accented by evergreens, pinecones and rose petals.
