Stitching Between the Lines

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Friday, July 31, 2015. Pictures. Part II. Finally, pictures of the rest of my finishes. It's a general mish-mash of items. I made two charity baby quilts. Neither is terribly exciting. I had a variety of pink fabrics that were smaller squares than I usually keep. 4 1/4. An odd size that seemed wasteful to cut down to the sizes I normally keep. I also finished July's A Year In Chalk. I have a few more WIPs...

Stitching Between the Lines: Summer means

http://stitchingbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/2015/07/summer-means.html

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Monday, July 13, 2015. Lots of time for projects. I've written before about setting summer-time goals. About how I used to encourage my kids to set some and how they looked at me like I had two heads. Lucky girl, I know. So, when I have lots of finishes to post don't wonder how I 'do it all'. This is the easy stuff. As for goals.I am still trying to work my way through projects left in limbo&#...I made th...

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Friday, January 30, 2015. Sewing in sunny Florida. Besides remodeling the kitchen I aim to stitch and stitch and stitch some more. My plan is to focus on this. I started Keep the Spirit by Debbie Mumm several years ago. I've always liked it and only set it aside because it is big and cumbersome. I was having trouble working on the dark blue in the evening, too. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. One of the best f...

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Oops I cut off the corners. My Winter Solstice quilt is nearing the home stretch. This block of the month. Was organized by Paulette of Sweet P Quilting and Creations. Hard to believe it is so close to the actual winter solstice. Time picks up its pace this time of year. Even so, I expect I'll have this done and quilted before November is over. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. I use...

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Anyone with one won't ever ask but others feel free. They say things like:. What will you ever do with all this? My answer is usually the same.when the next 40 days and 40 nights of rain come I'll be set. Who knew it would be put to the test this summer. I had to get out my flannel night gown and it's too cold for bare feet. I think it will be a non-summer for us this year. Over he...

Stitching Between the Lines: Repairs have been made.

http://stitchingbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/2015/05/repairs-have-been-made.html

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Friday, May 15, 2015. Repairs have been made. I am happy to report that my long arm is back and in good operational order. I am still a little nervous that something could so easily jam up and pull the machine out of whack like that. I repaired the quilt and, while I can find the square right away and see the repair, I don't think anyone who didn't know where to look could find it. May 18, 2015 at 8:34 AM.

A bit of craft, cooking and commenting. Tuesday, 30 September 2014. Stitch From Stash Update: September. Just sneaking in on the very last day of September with my report for this month. It's not looking healthy I'm afraid. I haven't blown the budget, I haven't spent anything this month, but I haven't been able to stitch much either. I did manage a little stitching during my weekend in Glastonbury so I do have something to share. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Stitch From Stash 2014. Currently, all my stuf...

A bit of craft, cooking and commenting. Tuesday, 28 October 2014. Stitch From Stash Update: October. Hello friends. I'm back in the library to bring you my latest report. Stitching was slow at the start of the month, what with the craziness of moving in and settling down into my new flat. But my mojo has returned, boosted by a lovely gift all the way from Canada. Yes, I was lucky enough to win a SFS prize last month! I couldn't believe it! So, onto the report! Tuesday, October 28, 2014. I began my wrestl...

The Stitching Lion: Tea and Stitching

http://stitchylion.blogspot.com/2015/07/tea-and-stitching.html

A bit of craft, cooking and commenting. Friday, 31 July 2015. Hello friends, how are you all? This is my second day off in a row from work, so I got all the boring jobs and chores done yesterday. Now I have time to blog read to my heart's content, as well as settle down to some stitching time with a film later :). They were from 2014 and 2015 - who could ever donate new magazines? There was no price tag but the assistant told us she would sell them 3 for £1. Can't argue with that! Friday, July 31, 2015.

A bit of craft, cooking and commenting. Saturday, 22 November 2014. The Good Old Days. Just flying in to share my latest progress pic of my Blackbird Designs sampler. I think I forgot to mention in my last post that I'm stitching this one over one :) It's tiny, but only one colour so I'm still enjoying myself. Here it is so far . . . Thank you for being patient with my lack of posts. I hope to be back in the swing of things soon. Saturday, November 22, 2014. Linda K's Stitching Corner. Linda K, Railroad.

A bit of craft, cooking and commenting. Thursday, 2 July 2015. A Car Called Pond. Thank you for all your sweet comments on my last couple of blog posts. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things with blogging. It will be much easier now that I have access to the Internet in my flat. It was far too expensive to purchase on my own, but now that I'm sharing bills with Lawrence, I can be back online! I'm quite pleased with the simple style :). Thursday, July 02, 2015. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. 2012: The Year of the Bowl. Hello, my friends! And how is the New Year treating you so far? We've already had a few ups and downs in our family this year, but, hopefully, when 2013 ends, it will be with more of the positive than the negative. I'm not one for making resolutions, are you? Friday, 3 September 2010. Well, I had a relatively decent bank holiday and have had some time to get some stitching done! I finished the Disney ATC for CSF and my recipient was very happy with it which is great. Here it is in all its piglet-ty glory. Stitched on light blue 16 count aida with Anchor threads and finished on card with borders using Anita's sticky ribbon. Here she is at 35 hours. And where I left off at 40 hours.
