Life's Little Details: Knitting, Sewing, Green Living, Frugal Living and Cooking In A Little Corner of Southern French Countryside. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Not In the Mood. I had a really interesting post plan about the circus I took the kids to this evening, but, as I told my husband a bit earlier, I've got a headache, so I'm just "not in the mood". I'll try to be a little less of a party pooper tomorrow. Posted by The Stitchin' Sheep at 11:53 PM. Monday, May 30, 2005. An Experiment in Complicatedness.

The Stitchin' Sheep: A Horrible End

Life's Little Details: Knitting, Sewing, Green Living, Frugal Living and Cooking In A Little Corner of Southern French Countryside. Tuesday, June 12, 2007. FIGHTING OVER CAMERA TIME). I've recently been finding large ants in our bed. I only come across one at a time, so I never know where they're coming from. I usually just squash them when I feel them crawling on my skin at night. Not fun, but what else can I do? There's at least some amount of justice in this world, though. This old man, he played one.

Life's Little Details: Knitting, Sewing, Green Living, Frugal Living and Cooking In A Little Corner of Southern French Countryside. Wednesday, March 30, 2005. The Amish Route to Heaven. They may not have electricity, but those Amish sure now how to eat! Cinnabon's got absolutely nothing on these people. I'm thinking of converting, because if the sour cream roll recipe I found online is any indication of their regular diet, I'm there. It won't be that big of a change in lifestyle, right? If only I could f...

Life's Little Details: Knitting, Sewing, Green Living, Frugal Living and Cooking In A Little Corner of Southern French Countryside. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Zip, Zilch, Nada. Well, there's not much to tell around here. No knitting has happened in this house today, though I had a strong urge to finish the bag I'm going to felt (I may experiment with that Shibori funness that I saw in the Fall IK that came in yesterday. Never did get the Summer one, though! Nah, we'll stop here.). Wednesday, June 29, 2005.

Spy.As.Me.."Missions" of Motherhood

SpyAsMe."Missions" of Motherhood. Sunday, November 14, 2010. I've been reading in the Psalms lately, and I can relate when King David talks about how weary or worn down he is. I definitely need the Lord's strength right now to just push though. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Sure, some of it is due to being a busy mama of three, but I'm convinced there's more to it. To stitch, perchance to assess risk in an intelligent manner, and laugh while doing so. My Persephone books list. Monday, 27 July 2015. One million, nine hundred thousand machine stitches. 8230; in 28 months.  I know this fact due to having my sewing machine serviced by the charming Brett at Sewworks. Quilting patterns are wonky Greek key and big toe, as described by my family. If I got down to 1,900,000 pencil lines my drawing would improve at the same rate as my stitching. Links to this post. Monday, February 7, 2011. January begins a new year and new developments. This month Donelle shared with the group a great technique for creating a bow-tie block and just look at this great quilt. what a way to use up of that stash! See the little pocket this technique creates- - you can just leave that there as Donelle has done or there are a few other possibilities too. The group then got their hands busy with some fabric and some needles to put the technique to practical terms. Links to this post.
