Alex's Important Adoption Dates. Tuesday, May 6, 2014. On April 19th, I hit the 30th week of pregnancy. I’ve also reached a point where diet is no longer keeping the gestational diabetes at bay. I’ve had to begin taking insulin before bed. Thankfully, the insulin shots are less painful than poking my finger to test my glucose levels. Saturday, September 24, 2011. Tonight we went to the local carnival. The rides looked safer than the ones that show up in our home town. It was fun. Maybe go again tomorrow after the circus. Found a close restaurant today with a reasonable variety of food. I liked the pizza but it was close to a meat pie in taste and Melissa did not like the dill they used all over it. Our favorite place to eat is over by the open market but I doubt we will walk the 4.5km to get there at night. Friday, September 23, 2011.
