Strasbourg, my love! Monthly Archives: April 2014. April 7, 2014. Yesterday I took a break from revising and went to see the official beginning of the carnival in Strasbourg, so here are some impressions 🙂. Should probably take this as a cover photo for the blog 😉. It was quite a fun event, with lots of sweets and candies being thrown from the waggons and lots and lots of different types of music being played 🙂. The IEP, church and magnolia tree 🙂. Strasbourg, my love! Carnaval à Strasbourg →. March 14, 2014. So it’s been almost 2 months since I did my last post on here. that has a couple of reasons, mainly this one:. After my exams, I took some time to travel around Europe, and in a few weekends, managed to see quite a bit 🙂 I also flew over to the States to visit a friend of mine during my holidays in February 🙂. It has been a busy busy time, and time, again, flew by so quickly that it is now finally spring in this beautiful city!

Be careful when cycling through the city, either you’ll get run over by another cyclist, a car, a motorbike or a scooter or anything else on wheels. Oh and zebra crossings are just lines who someone randomly painted on the street (though in an orderly manner) and can obviously be ignored by cars. Strasbourg, my love! First week of lectures →. Freiburg and a lovely picnic. September 22, 2013. Last week I unfortunately spent most of my time in bed as I was trying to recover from freshers flu, so I missed all of my classes and only went to the compulsory meeting on Friday. this also meant losing out on a lot of opportunities as our Bureau d’Etudiants Internationaux (the international students’ office) had a lot planned last week including a trip to Colmar on Saturday. Martinstor at the back 🙂.
