Inspired by the survivors, Strength in Scarves, a non-profit organization, supports victims of domestic violence through gifts of hand-knitted and crocheted items. The hand knitted and crocheted scarves and other items are gifted to domestic violence victims through well established shelters and organizations, which are helping those surviving domestic violence. In specific situations, knitted and crocheted scarves will be provided to individual survivors of domestic violence in the United States.
