After settling in to our RV park in Milton, Florida called Avalon Landing, we went back to Mobile the next day to visit the USS Alabama battleship military park. Obviously, we did not take this photo from the air. This shows the immense size of the ship next to those tiny cars in the parking lot and the submarine in the upper right. HUGE! Monstrous. One of the side trips we wanted to take while staying in Moab was to visit Castle Valley, which is up the Colorado River about 18 miles or so. Supposed to be a nice place to visit. On the way up, we couldn't help but stop and marvel.again.at the rock formations. This is called Varnished Rock. And had a little fun. I'm sure I felt it move! Even Katie got in on the action. Donnerstag, 3. September 2015. Da ist er, mein Schal "Deep blue Sea". Der hat mir echt Spaß gemacht. Besonders auch das Muster, auch wenn es ab und zu mal zurück ging. 100 Gramm High Twist Wolle aus Anjas Farbtopf. Gestrickt habe ich mit Nadelstärke 3,25 und das Muster habe ich hier. Nachdem ich ihn nochmal ein wenig durchs Wasser gezogen habe und aufgehängt habe, hat er eine Länge von 130 cm bekommen. Ausreichend für mich. Die Farbe ist ein wenig dunkler als auf den Fotos.
