Saturday, September 7, 2013. Summer Adventures: The Fair. The fair rolled into Farmington the middle of August complete with elephant rides and diving dogs. Once again, it was hot (the story of this summer), and there was a fire on the hill by Lagoon but we thought we would brave the elements and take the kids down. Monday, February 3, 2014. It really is nice to have a dad that is into photography. I am able to have pictures taken for free, basically anytime I want them. Also I can look at them right after they've been taken and decide if I like them, or if I want to try some different poses, or change my hair or outfit. I know I am SPOILED. Ready or Not.Here I Come. The new game around these parts is hide-n-go-seek. Avery loves it. When we first started playing her hiding places were a little obvious to say the least. For Family Home Evening we decided it was time to carve those pumpkins we picked. Avery was pretty excited at first. Celebrating the 4th of July. On the 4th we woke up early in the morning for a ward breakfast. There were yummy pancakes and sausage, a fun bike parade, and a flag raising ceremony celebrating the land we call home. Avery decorated her bike with red, white, and blue stars and sparkles. And then she biked around the chapel building about 5 times. We went to lake Minnetonka and swam around some, and when we were done we got to ride the "train" back to the cars. Storytime at the Farm. There's a fun little farm that stays true to the 1890's. People dress up in period clothing and sell homemade treats, and our favorite thing, they have a fun storytime. So we've been going every Tuesday and inviting our friends to join us. Avery has loved every second of it. She feeds the animals, plays on the swing, and listens to the fun books they read.
