Makidon Optics Laboratory. Construction for the project started in January 2013 and was finished in May 2013. The photos below show the lab during construction, and the finished product on the day of the inauguration. Room 135 in January 2013. The inauguration was held on May 9, 2013.

STScI Russell B. Makidon Optics Laboratory. The Russel B. Makidon Optics Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility located at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, Maryland. The lab was inaugurated May 9, 2013, and includes one Class 100,000 clean room and two Class 10,000 clean rooms.
