Curly Mommy Crafts: October 2009
http://curlymommycrafts.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 29, 2009. So its been awhile. Even though no one really reads this, I feel as though I need to explain my absence. My family and I took a week long trip back home to NY, as my husband had fall break from school, and all of a sudden its been weeks since I updated! How time flies. Anywho, here I am. Back with a vengeance! B) I don't think my baby girl will notice my stitching is not straight, at least until later in life. I can deal with that. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Has a bunch of suu...

Curly Mommy Crafts: December 2009
http://curlymommycrafts.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 16, 2009. After much consideration, I've decided that the intended recipient of my first "real" quilt does not read this. So I'm posting my finished project! It is far from perfect- and I could pick out plenty of places where there are mistakes/things I would change/random goldfish cracker pieces. but none the less, I am still pretty proud of it. I also wanted to participate in Piece N Quilt's "Homespun Holidays! Go over and check out their Blog. For the great tutorial.

Curly Mommy Crafts: November 2009
http://curlymommycrafts.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 23, 2009. I would be lying if I said I hadn't already started celebrating a bit. but in my defense, having three stations here that have been playing Christmas music for two weeks is just a temptation that I cannot walk away from. I have been working on a secret project, as soon as I can, I will post pictures! I don't have a lot of Christmas shopping to do this year. mainly because Joel and I don't have any money. ha ha. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves,...

Curly Mommy Crafts: January 2010
http://curlymommycrafts.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 14, 2010. Wow- so the past few days I have been violentally ill on my death bed. Luckily, I now seem to be recuuperating and digesting food again- go me. Before the flu rampage, I had managed to start work on my newest quilt! This was quite the accomplishment seeing as how my baby girl has been extra snuggly due to her never ending cold. but lets be honest. I don't really mind a snuggly baby :) ). I am also excited that I joined a Quilt-a-Long with Vicki at Sew inspired. Fat Quarter Sho...

Curly Mommy Crafts: Slowly but surely
http://curlymommycrafts.blogspot.com/2009/10/slowly-but-surely.html
Thursday, October 08, 2009. I've discovered it's quite difficult to get quilting done with a 9 month old crawling all over/picking up the pieces you're trying to put together. That being said, I have roughly an hour a day right now to "get down to business." Hopefully as she gets to be more self-sufficient, I will be able to quilt while she is playing! Today I pressed the blocks that I sewed together yesterday, and will be pinning/sewing them to the middle piece (fingers crossed) sometime today.

Curly Mommy Crafts: So Close!
http://curlymommycrafts.blogspot.com/2009/11/so-close.html
Wednesday, November 11, 2009. So- I am SO close to being finished. I know, I move (quilt) slower than molasses. oh well! I finished quilting. ok almost, I should hand quilt a few more stars in the middle. but I just hate it so much! I have assembled the binding and started to sew that on, and HOPEFULLY will be completely done with this quilt by the end of the week. It looks soooooo cool, and I can't wait to see what it will look like when its complete. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). STuck in the Coop.

Monday, October 05, 2009. Let's see how this works. My name's Nicole, and I'm a craft addict. The purpose of this blog is to document the trials and tribulations of my venture into quilting, along with any other project that comes along (and believe me, it happens pretty often). I'm not much of a writer, so who knows how this will go. Let's go! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States. I love my family. I love sweets. I love crafts. Curly Mommy Crafts: 2010
http://curlymommycrafts.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010.html
Thursday, January 07, 2010. What a year 2009 was. most importantly. My beautiful baby girl was born- and now she's almost a year old! I found my love of quilting. I'm so excited to see what 2010 brings. Right now I am tending to a sick, sick baby, but hopefully will have some time to begin working on the quilt I just finished cutting pieces for. Fingers crossed! Also, I have been looking all morning for a Block Swap, but have been unable to find anything worth while. any suggestions? STuck in the Coop.
