Today's my first day of school. This semester I'm doing one day of Visiting Nurse each week, but for the majority of clinicals, we each pick a specialty area (as I've mentioned before) and, well, sort of hope that the coins will all flip the right way and we'll get to work there for the year. The coins flipped right for me. My "preceptorship" is in the ER at a Level I trauma center, night shift (7 PM to 7 AM). Oops, I actually have to go to school right now. We're learning to put in IVs today.
