He was so excited can you tell from the first picture? That ten minute talk on good sportsmanship before the races started really paid off! Later he pouted all the way home because I told him that two brownies, and three cookies was enough dessert, and he didn't need anymore when we got home. Ahhhh, such is life. Links to this post.

Come to the table. Saturday, May 25, 2013. Oh, The Places You'll Go! That was the theme of our party for Ashley's high school graduation! The sides of the cake are actually sugar cookies we made.we made dough, separated and colored it, and chilled it. Then we rolled it into balls. Then we rolled it into a long "snake" and twisted it before rolling it into a spiral. They were actually fun to make and tasted absolutely delicious. Ashley earned the achievement of Valedictorian. She gave a great speech.
