http://msteekay.blogspot.com/2014/09/ishbel-again.html
Sunday, September 7, 2014. This one for my pal C, who celebrated a special birthday recently. Full credit to my other pal Johanna, for being my life coach on this one when I got impatient in the lace repeats. (I hope you all have a Johanna in your life telling you it will be worth it in the end). And I also hope you have a friend like Miss C, worth knitting an Ishbel for. The yarn: Madelinetosh prairie in Tart. Needle: 3.75 mm. Posted by ms.tee.kay. September 8, 2014 at 9:45 AM. 2012 by ms.tee.kay.

Monday, November 11, 2013. Little hats for little dears. Did a total number on me - and got me thinking about making kiddo hats. I settled on this pattern. Because there's a bit of slouch. Without overstating it, slouchy hats on adorable children make me happy to be alive. These ocean-coloured hats are destined for two little sisters who love the beach. Pale Blue hat - Tosh DK (Windowpane), Dark blue hat Madtosh Vintage (Ocean). Needles: 4mm and 4.5mm. Mitten pattern: Stars and Stripes mittens.

ms.tee.kay: Moc making
http://msteekay.blogspot.com/2014/09/moc-making.html
Wednesday, September 3, 2014. I took a moccasin making course a few weeks ago at Crown Flora. Wow - what a beautiful space - every corner filled with handmade wonders). I was curious to see what it was like to work with leather and well now I know. It's maybe not the best thing for my weak little hands. But I did finish my shoes and they're pretty neato. I just have to spray and stretch them and they'll make cute little winter slippers. Posted by ms.tee.kay. What an amazing place! Fa la la fridays.

ms.tee.kay: Gloves galore
http://msteekay.blogspot.com/2014/08/gloves-galore.html
Sunday, August 31, 2014. So this summer was spent making a lot of fingerless gloves. Without going into all of the sad details, there was lots of turmoil at work and when the going gets tough, the tough get knitting. I know that for new things to happen, old things have to end - but man, sometimes you just wanna hang onto the old. Ok September, it's go time. Bring on the cold weather, my friends and I are ready for ya. Posted by ms.tee.kay. Beautiful and so thoughtful. September 1, 2014 at 7:31 AM.
