Saturday, December 20, 2008. We had an adventuresome Holiday this year. Patty and Mahlon came with Rachel on Saturday, and by Sunday we had over a foot of snow. Mahlon had no problems getting around so he went and got the kids so we could all be together. . We had fun walking about the neighborhood. Friday, December 26, 2008. Rachel and Kay had a fun week together. The weather changed some of their plans but they made the most of it. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Snapshots of the last few months. We did get engaged:) Definitely old news, but good:). Hiking Mount St Helens.it was cold, raining, misty, but fun. Mike, Andrea, Craig and I attempted to climb this mountain, we made it a fair piece up the mountain before deciding that sliding down was infinitely more fun:). Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Yesterday I ventured dowtown and visited the "new" library to see if it met up to the high reviews it has acquired. I was impressed by the layout, seattle design, and forward thinking of the library. On May 15th Hendrik Koopman (age 16) of North Bend was seriously injured while dirt biking with friends in Roslyn, Washington. Hendrik’s injuries are extensive and will require him to be in the hospital for an extended period of time. All proceeds will go to the Koopman family to help with Hendrik’s medical costs.
