Too Much By One?: The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
http://toomuchbyone.blogspot.com/2012/05/bell-jar-by-sylvia-plath.html
Too Much By One? Monday, May 14, 2012. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I was a little reluctant to start this one and might never have approached it if it wasn't on HeHa's reading list. I'm not a big poetry person and all I knew about Sylvia Plath was the head in the oven and the very strange "Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams." Unfinished story: Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro
http://unfinished-story.blogspot.com/2011/10/second-book-i-read-was-kazuo-ishiguros.html
Another midnight, another day spent in the nation of Procrasti. Saturday, 15 October 2011. Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro. The second book I read was Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go. The first time I saw this book was in a library in England in 2007. I was hesitating between that book, Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys, and John Ajvide Lindqvist's Let The Right One In. I finished Never Let Me Go today which means I've now read all three books. After some thought I feel like Never Let Me Go is a not-quite book.

~ rice in the cupboard ~: Feeling Privileged
http://riceinthecupboard.blogspot.com/2012/01/feeling-privileged.html
Rice in the cupboard. All i need is rice in my cupboard and poems in my head. Sunday, January 15, 2012. I went grocery shopping yesterday. I read labels, compared ingredients, did my best to choose healthy foods and beauty products that were not tested on animals. And I thought as I drove home that those kinds of consumer choices, as important as they may be, are not available to everyone, that being able to make those choices is a mark of economic privilege.
