The University of Waterloo Submarine Racing, or in short ‘WatSub’, started as an engineering project on December 2014, becoming officially the first submarine racing team in Ontario. With only two members then, the team soon grew to over 130 general members and a tight core-team, a bold statement from the University of Waterloo students who proved to be eager to tackle new challenges. The team lives inside the Sedra student design centre. WatSub’ will make its first appearance on the eISR 2016.
