Samsara: Hodophobia
http://stargazerleo-samsara.blogspot.com/2010/02/hodophobia.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. On the eve of the second major snowfall in less than a week, I thought I'd write a little about the hodophobia I apparently suffer from. My daughter diagnosed me at the dinner table a couple of weeks ago when I cancelled plans, due to the snow, disappointing myself and others. Here are the 9 symptoms of hodophobia taken from wrongdiagnosis.com. Irrational fear of travel. Extreme avoidance measures taken. Do I take 'extreme avoidance measures'? Post traumatic stress disorder?

Samsara: September 2008
http://stargazerleo-samsara.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2008. I'm getting this in just under the wire. Since this was one of the busiest summers I can remember, I wanted to take a moment and try to sum it up for myself (reflect, ponder - it's one of my favorite pastimes). It began in June with my trip to Orcas Island. Which I'm sure played a part in the progression of my life since then. Chrys and I took a mid-week trip on the ferry to Vancouver Island and bussed it to Victoria. This last one is part of the "Dark Collaboration" betwee...

Radically Inept

Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Couldn't even remember my passwords to the account, and for some reason, neither could my computer. Could be an age thing. I am contemplating a PDA/SmartPhone or whatever. The Samsung i730(? And the TREO 650 are what I'm looking at. Any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Ease of use is certainly a criterion, but first and foremost are the ability to google and to blog at will; or at least when I'm w/in WiFi or some other access range. Google Page Rank 6.

Samsara: My summer vacation will be spent in my bathroom
http://stargazerleo-samsara.blogspot.com/2010/03/my-summer-vacation-will-be-spent-in-my.html
Saturday, March 6, 2010. My summer vacation will be spent in my bathroom. I am so eager to move on and make a home of my very own, for the very first time in my life. Now that it is within reasonable reach, I do know I will feel sad upon leaving this house because of the memories it holds. I hope that sadness is tempered by the excitement of something new. Samsara: Samsara
http://stargazerleo-samsara.blogspot.com/2010/02/samsara.html
Saturday, February 6, 2010. The name of this blog comes from The Tea Party. Song by the same name. I love this song. And this (unfortunately, defunct) band. Here are the lyrics:. Please would you tell me my friend. Which direction is the way. Because I'm lost, I'm confused. This reality we choose. Is a long, long way from the dream. All you'll feel is pain and suffering. Yes but i've heard that before. From those teachers of dreams. But it's old and it's cold. I just can't feel it in my soul. View my com...

Samsara: My personal best music of 2009
http://stargazerleo-samsara.blogspot.com/2010/01/my-personal-best-music-of-2009.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. My personal best music of 2009. I first heard this band on XPN. And then looked them up on myspace. Blue Lights on the Runway - another band I first heard on XPN. 6 Alice in Chains. My Old, Familiar Friend -I've posted about this cd a couple of times in my blog already, so I won't go into much more detail here. I knew Brendan from the Raconteurs, but first heard this cd on, yes, XPN. I've thoroughly enjoyed it. 2 Kings of Leon. On none other than a Mark Lanegan song, Praying Gro...

Samsara: May 2009
http://stargazerleo-samsara.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 17, 2009. I've blogged about this museum before. But felt compelled to do it again, as this year's trip and exhibit proved just as interesting and inspiring as the last. This place is on my list of neverending things to do and places to visit and when I had my choice of mother's day activities, rather than deal with Philly crowds and traffic, I chose to go here. The current exhibit, which ends today actually is Elegant Enigmas: The Art of Edward Gorey. And The Fantod Pack. Of NC Wyeth's house...
