Love me some cables | Textiles and Bicycles
https://textilesandbicycles.wordpress.com/2008/05/31/love-me-some-cables
Laquo; le genius. Love me some cables. As a result of the well-documented, long-standing capecho-fit saga with knitters all over the world, I was able to make mine with the advantage of some pretty effective mods. For those unfamiliar, the capecho is shown on the cover of Vogue Knitting Winter 2007 to fit pretty closely and tightly on the model. But when knitters actually took to the pattern it would turn out quite large and bunchy. Wouldn’t that ruin the fabric? I guess I like fabric more than ceramics&...

All the Cool Kids Love to Craft: It's A Wrap
http://coolkidscrafting.blogspot.com/2009/01/its-wrap.html
Friday, January 16, 2009. There you have it! Uncle Jim, Mrs. Sue Woodward, my dad . and those are the ones I know about. How touching! To think that my wrapping paper was good enough to save! I watched several of my readers who had the chance to open one of the above boxes try to guess what part of the two phrases they had received. If you recall, the options were, "Once upon a time" and "And they all lived happily ever after. The end.". Hot glued) pine cone kept the paper feeling very natural. Artsy Pho...

Saturday, February 6, 2010. A tribute to the best craft ever. I actually sold all of his friends at my October craft sale . making a tidy little profit. I mean, you gotta admit, it's worth more than a quarter, if nothing more than for the sheer retro awesomeness of the colors and shapes. Labels: The Natural State. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, January 7, 2010. It's A Wrap (2009 Edition). So this is another in the never-ending collection of holiday posts. Presenting, this year's homemade package wrap. The point for me was to do something that was unique and fun, to try out a new idea and to make something worth keeping. Also, there's no coincidence vis a vis the Longhorn package topper (above) and today's date. One last plug. Texas Fight! Labels: Being a Good Little Enviromentally Friendly Girl. All the Cool Kids Love to Craft: January 2010
http://coolkidscrafting.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 10, 2010. Cousinly Giving, Part Two. Here's Cousin Will, looking almost Sweeney Todd esque? I don't know but the coloring of the picture combined with his Dickenesque scarf has me thinking of a Tim Burton flick. He's demonstrating how to play the miniature guitar I made for him out of my fav forever gingerbread recipe. I think he liked it, as much as a twentysomething guy can like a Christmas ornament. All the Cool Kids Love to Craft: March 2009
http://coolkidscrafting.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Yeah little ones, I've been neglecting you. Though I'm about to enter another one of those sporadic "one week of a new post every day" kind of periods because I am motivated, that's why. I'm all straightened out. Almost as much as the fact that baseball opens in one week (well, less than that.). I'm all smiles. Oh and this year MLB is selling team-themed gnomes. Really, I'm pretty sure that just about sums me up in one ridiculous item. A baseball themed gnome. I used scrapbooking...
