http://themeadowslife.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Quilting, Kids, and Life. Saturday, July 12, 2014. Summer is so wonderful! I don't have to share my kids with the school system, my hubby gets to come home from work early, we can swim in the pool whenever, peaches are ripe, and I do get to sew a little. :). I finished some Little Dresses for Africa. Have you ever heard of them? Go check out Rachel and her lovely group and all the wonderful things they do! My Little Ladybug has decided that she wants a Frozen Birthday party next month! Links to this post.

Quilting, Kids, and Life. Friday, August 15, 2014. I finished my Dresden Star Quilt. She ended up being 64" x 78". And of course, I made it reversible. The Dresdens petals were made with Darlene Zimmerman's Dresden ruler at 2.5". I made points on both ends and machine sewed them on to white Squares. I hope all is well and your summers were great too! April @ Little Mama Hen. August 15, 2014 at 7:37 AM. What a great finish! August 15, 2014 at 9:22 AM. August 15, 2014 at 9:42 AM. Wasn't I just pregnant with her, craving Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream! Little Man will be with me one more year and then next fall he will start Pre-School! They are both growing so fast and it is bitter-sweet. I like using the Bran Flakes cereal to make Bran Muffins AND (believe it or not) the kids love the Bran Muffins too! 1 TBSN baking powder. Little Mama Hen: Quilt Stash
http://themeadowslife.blogspot.com/2014/05/quilt-stash.html
Quilting, Kids, and Life. Thursday, May 8, 2014. Finished up my Ladybug top. Now I have to decide what backing fabric to add and how to quilt it. She's a 46" square and she was so much fun to make! My own Little Miss Ladybug helped me pick out the border fabric. She said the butterflies made it look like a garden. :) Seven is such a darling age; actually I say that about every age. I love my two little sweeties. :). Most people like to show their fabric stashes, but it seems I have more of a quilt stash!

Little Mama Hen: Boo Coasters
http://themeadowslife.blogspot.com/2014/09/boo-coasters.html
Quilting, Kids, and Life. Friday, September 19, 2014. I'm making some burlap curtains for my bedroom and I have lots of little burlap pieces. So I created these little Burlap coasters for Halloween. I plan on making some more, maybe a witch and cat silhouette. I may get real crafty and paint an entire haunted house scene as a wall hanging. I also made some little aprons for dish soap and/or hand sanitizer bottles. I found the pattern and idea over at Simplify. September 20, 2014 at 1:44 PM. I love the id...

http://themeadowslife.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Quilting, Kids, and Life. Thursday, April 24, 2014. I finished her up! She's been sitting around for oh so long, patiently waiting.and now. She's done! I'm not sure what makes me shelve a quilt. I have several. It's not that I don't want to finish them, it's just that for various reasons some quilts just need to simmer. I also finished a couple of little totes for some friends of my Mama. I really like the blue/green one. :). Hope your week is going well! Confessions of a Fabric Addict. Links to this post.

Little Mama Hen: Hold on to that Trash
http://themeadowslife.blogspot.com/2012/04/hold-on-to-that-trash_19.html
Quilting, Kids, and Life. Thursday, April 19, 2012. Hold on to that Trash. Have you ever b. Ing and you hear a little v. Oice from the back seat, “Here Mama”? Still watching the road and blindly wavi. Ng your hand in the back seat to grasp a hold of whatever your little one is trying to hand you. For me, it’s usually trash. Well, I found a solution to this ever growing ‘disaster waiting to happen’. Tara over at. Had a wonderful idea. She put an adorable hand crafted fabric tra. Sh bag in her back seat.
