Button to get a puzzle, or enter your own puzzle then click Begin. Click the Solve it. Button to see the solution. Instructions (easy as 1 2 3). Skip to step 2 if you want a random puzzle generated for you. If you already have a puzzle and want to enter the clues continue with step 1. Place the mouse over an empty cell. A number pad will pop up. Click on a digit in the number pad to enter that digit in the cell. All the numbers on the board are cleared, except the clues. All markup digits are cleared.

Tower of Hanoi Puzzle. The object is to move the stack of disks from the left peg to the right peg. Moving one disk at a time you may place a disk on an empty peg or on top of a bigger disk. At no time may you place a disk on top of a smaller disk. To move a disk, point to it and left click, if it can be moved it will “stick” to the cursor. Move the cursor over the peg where you want to put the disk and left click to drop the disk. If you give up, click the Solve It. Button to see the solution.

The reason that can happen and the reason this puzzle is fairly difficult is that only the 2 biggest disks can go all the way down to the bottom of a peg. All the other disks stop when they reach the level they started from (actually, so do the 2 biggest disks because they started on the bottom). Press the Show Me.
