http://www.sueinstitches.blogspot.com/2015/02/what-day.html

A little place to share some moments of calm and the lighter parts of life. Tuesday, 3 February 2015. On that note look what my dear friend, Hazel treated me with . Cross stitch AND chocolate - can't beat it:-). Apologies for the flash reflection. Progress still being made on the Little House Needleworks - Family Sampler. I am really enjoying this, especially with the options to personalise it. I have also joined the Sampler life SAL which is very exciting, so looking forward to seeing how it turns out:-).

Sue In Stitches: Time to catch up..

http://www.sueinstitches.blogspot.com/2015/01/time-to-catch-up.html

A little place to share some moments of calm and the lighter parts of life. Sunday, 11 January 2015. Time to catch up. Goodness me the Christmas season has past us so fast, I haven't got to keep you all updated on things created. As a very big treat to myself I finally got around to framing some of my finishes and hanging them up on my stitching wall. It makes me smile every time I see them all together. Best wishes for the year ahead. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Samplings from a Blue Ribbon Girl.

A little place to share some moments of calm and the lighter parts of life. Monday, 3 November 2014. It has occurred to me that I have not kept up-to-date with many things. SUE | With Vivacious Thoughts

September 16, 2016. Everybody needs a “Jonathan”. David was anointed to be king of Israel at a tender age. He was only a shepherd boy, looking after his father’s flock. Imagine that uplift? From shepherd hood to kingship! That’s a total twist of styles and behaviour! The imaginations could be endless especially for matters regarding friendships. Despite the fact that David was anointed to be king, he did not know how to behave like one. January 22, 2015. In life, there are no free lunches. July 30, 2014.

In Taipei

Sunday, January 17, 2010. Golden Formosa, Smith and Hsu. 1/17/10 - Today was an idyllic Sunday for sure. As I woke up today I hurried to the Golden Formosa Restaurant. For a family gathering. The occassion? My aunt Shirley wanted to rehearse the Chinese New Year's Eve. While I have never been enthused about having to rehearse anything at all ever in my life, I did welcome this very rehearsal with all my heart. Opened up in Tianmu recently and so I suggested we went there. Well! Links to this post. Creati...

Sue's garden

Having developed my small urban garden from what started, 18 years ago, as a vegetable patch, it gives me such pleasure I want to share it. View of rose and herb garden, June 2009. Thursday, 16 July 2015. The Royals in harmony! I should be working but just found this pic of Regal lilies and a delicious spray of Clematis Prince Charles - such a happy combination, albeit taffled up with hop leaves. Sue in the garden. Sunday, 12 July 2015. But they have all been doing their bit in providing a great habitat ...

Sue In Training

Reasons For Exercising At Night. March 7, 2014 by Sue. There are tons of articles telling you to exercise first thing in the morning, teaching you how to become a morning person, etc. None of those tips or arguments have ever worked for me personally. Ever since I started being more physically active, I’ve always prefered to exercise in the afternoon or at night. Here are a few reasons why I’d rather workout at night. More energy at night. After work stress release. First work than play. Exercising after...
