Sunday, July 26, 2009. This summer we went on a 15 mile bike ride. 2 miles of it were in a dark tunnel. The 18 inch deep water ditches on both sides made the tunnel really scary. I actually fell into one of the water ditches. It was really cold so I had a wet foot all the way out of the tunnel. It was also really cold in the tunnel so we were freezing all the way through. This has been covered in several other posts - as it was quite the traumatic event for all of us. She also celebrated her 10th birthday and got her ears pierced. Family - On Labor Day we enjoyed a little hike on the Cress Creek Nature trail followed by a picnic and afternoon at Heise Hot Springs and Pool with the Bone family. We left a little later than them and managed to squeeze in Pizza at Heise for dinner also - yum! Evelyn - I can't believe my "baby" is now old enough to be baptized!
