Mad Love: Foodie Wannabe
http://mymadloves.blogspot.com/2011/07/foodie.html
Obsessions, desires and things that make me happy. Saturday, July 23, 2011. I am an avid Food Network watcher. Guilty as charged. Being such a fan of the network has broadened my cooking and baking skills pretty well over the years. I'm no Bobby Flay, but I ain't half bad either. On that note, there still is a definite down side to this: I always have the munchies. Boy, I love being the adult. then sometimes . I wish I had that someone to tell me, "You don't need. Dessert tonight either, Crystal.". 1/4 c...

Decorative Fall Arrangement Vase and Frame. I saw a great idea online the other day, to use a vase as a picture frame so I decided to add a twist on that idea by making a fall decor mantle piece that doubles as a frame. Here are the supplies that I started with:. Apple ornaments (bought at a tag sale for $0.50). Pumpkin accents (can be found at any craft store for about $2-$3). Pine cones, in differing sizes (real or decorative, I got these off of Freecycle). Raffia decoration (also from Freecycle).

Lack of Posting - I Can Explain! Did not sell, despite a lot of compliments. Oh well, it will look great in our front window this holiday season! The most creative thing I've done this week is to start some hand-made Christmas cards (I typically do half homemade and half out of the box) and try to come up with some fun and easy little craft projects that I can add onto the gifts I've already bought. Yes, I'm that person - my shopping has been done for weeks. And training my replacement for maternity leave.

Lovely Card Creations from a Fellow Crafty Blogger. Today I experienced one of the most touching moments since I've started this blog. A routine trip to the mailbox turned up a package from one of my Twitter friends, Rachel. Since I recently shared my pregnancy news. She sent this adorable, handmade baby card. Also in the package were these cute Thank You cards, which will surely come in handy over the next few months, since we've already started receiving baby gifts! Crafty Links - Babycakes Approved.

And crafting just doesn't fit in right this second. I'm hoping the tutorials I've posted will continue to help others with their own crafty projects and gift ideas. And I promise to post any news or baby projects as soon as I have time to start working on them again. Until then, I leave you with this adorable picture - this kid really is a good sport about my constant photo taking! Paint Chip Nursery Decoration. She created this cool "C" framed creation! Babycakes Crafts: Pregnancy Update - Winding Down
http://babycakescrafts.blogspot.com/2012/01/pregnancy-update-winding-down.html
Pregnancy Update - Winding Down. I guess it's obvious that I haven't been as crafty as normal lately. Don't get me wrong, I have all kinds of great ideas and inspiration but my brain has been in full-on baby mode! With only 4 days until my due date, I'm getting increasingly anxious. I know this little guy will join the outside world when he's good and ready but it doesn't make me any more relaxed. Hope 2012 is starting off great for all of you! January 8, 2012 at 12:24 PM. Keeping my fingers crossed!
