An art called life: September 2012
http://anartcalledlife.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
An art called life. Sunday 30 September 2012. Of brides and cheers. A girl in a saree hugged people around her and cried. People around her, cried too. But, then, something happened – A man who apparently happened to be the groom couldn’t control his tears and started crying too. No one knew what to do but the crying turned into smiles. The bride smiled too and the car drove away. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Read what i write to find out! View my complete profile. Of brides and cheers.

An art called life: Gabriel Garcia Marquez
http://anartcalledlife.blogspot.com/2014/04/gabriel-garcia-marquez.html
An art called life. Saturday 19 April 2014. Rest in Peace, Gabriel Garcia Marquez -. Some people have the ability to touch your heart without ever having met you - They are authors. One such author walked the Earth and left behind a richer world. He will be missed. Here are a few gems that I stacked into my closet of words. The literary world is abuzz with life because he wrote. Wish he could write more, but feeling blessed he wrote as much as he did. 8220;No medicine cures what happiness cannot.". 8220;...

An art called life. Monday 22 April 2013. A little piece of cake. He went ahead, pacing his steps as he felt a tinge of fear. His could hear his heart beat as he ran. Rain drops poured down heavily and the sound of the footsteps ran with him. "Who is it? That must be for the birthday party", he said to himself. He almost rushed. He could hear his excitement as he ran. The rains had stopped and he hadn't realised. He was home. He opened the gates of his house and called out " Meera! He wanted to meet his ...

A Corner Of My World: December 2010
http://aparnadasgupta.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
A Corner Of My World. Saturday, December 25, 2010. Thank God my parents never believed in Santa. They never took me to an old, fat guy with a fake beard and asked me to sit on his lap. Subsequently I never suffered from the trauma of discovering Santa Claus did not exist. They did believe in plum cakes and a good Christmas feast though. So my brother and I always looked forward to the 25th. That was the night we went out to eat. So how did you celebrate the holiday this year? Wednesday, December 15, 2010.

An art called life: June 2013
http://anartcalledlife.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
An art called life. Tuesday 25 June 2013. That sense of loss. Anyone who reads this would think I have lost my mind. I thought so too for a very long time. Today when I see people who have lost everything, I console myself with the thought that the people who wore the clothes are fine. The family and loved ones are safe and sound and that's what really matters. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Read what i write to find out! View my complete profile.
