Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). Error message: E ADEPT DOCUMENT TYPE UNKNOWN. 24 August 2016 15:26. This error message is received when there was an issue importing the ebook file in to our file server. Then when ADE opens the acsm file and tries to request the ebook from our server it cannot.
