Saturday, 25 October 2008. 5 teachers are expected to cover for their colleague who will be off work sick for 8 weeks. The head says he does not want it to count towards the 38 hour limit for cover set out by the teachers' contract the STPCD. A colleague applies for the threshold last year and is succesful but because he only just scrapes through the head says he will not be backdate it from 2007 (as set out by the school's pay policy and the STPCD) but September 2008. Monday, June 17, 2013. This is what has been happening in our house…. Early May nana came to visit. Then Oma Elly arrived just in time to help with childcare as B’s last day of school was May 23rd. Martha’s eighteen month journey with breast cancer has ended and it is now time for us to write a last blog entry for her. As she wished, Martha died peacefully at home on July 16. 2010 surrounded by; Joe, her husband; Janaya, Joey, Michael, her children; and Pam, her sister. Martha faced every test, treatment, and surgery with a strong drive of beating the cancer.
