The ups and downs of life. Jesus and Santa Love Me. I should have bought a birthday cake. I can’t bake too well so it would do better to buy a cake. But Jesus needed a birthday cake. I am just so grateful Jesus loves me and so many more. Today is His dedicated birthday. It’s such a special day. I am glad that is available to all to celebrate. I hope you are all having a merry Christmas. Blessings to you all! Posted in a day in the life. Newer Entry →. Please leave me a message! Enter your comment here.

The ups and downs of life. Happy Belated New Year! A medical professional I know recommended zinc so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to take some extra so you don’t get this same stuff. It was horrendous! It’s an easier-said-than-done notion, but it is helpful. I just pray when I am stressed. So I hope your new year is going well. Mine started out crappy but it will get better! Maybe I am over this plague and can move on! Posted in a day in the life. Newer Entry →. Please leave me a message! Inspiring people t...

The ups and downs of life. Today Is THE DAY. November 6, 2012. After all the pandering, mud-slinging, accusations, whining, and so many other words the day is finally upon us. The last day to vote. I am so glad I voted early. But then again there is a bit of a let down because I am not going to stand in line at the last-minute and talking to everyone who is also anxiously awaiting to exercise our wonderful American right to cast our vote. I worry about the outcome and will be on pins and needles. Notify ...

Tearful Times – my prayerful journey
https://myprayerfuljourney.wordpress.com/2016/06/06/tearful-times
June 6, 2016. I love my family so much. I know that even in times of sorrow that we are supposed to give thanks. Today was one of those days. Even though my cousin has cancer, we found out it hadn’t spread. We’re trying to find the positive in a bad situation and thanking God. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. One thought on “ Tearful Times. Let Me Show You Something. Just Breathe – my prayerful journey
https://myprayerfuljourney.wordpress.com/2016/08/21/just-breathe
August 21, 2016. Sometimes we need that time to just breathe. That is what I have been doing lately. I have been feeling a little overwhelmed on this journey. I haven’t quit praying, but writing wasn’t easy. I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t want to discourage anyone, but I didn’t feel very encouraging. Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord. And he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. Job 12:10 In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

Purposes & Plans – my prayerful journey
https://myprayerfuljourney.wordpress.com/2016/06/11/purposes-plans
June 11, 2016. There have been so many questions along my journey. What is my purpose? What is the plan? As I have asked that question over and over, I turn to the book of Jeremiah. My life has been filled with calamity and questions. Jeremiah 29:11-13: For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord. Plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me. Recently I ca...

May 2016 – my prayerful journey
https://myprayerfuljourney.wordpress.com/2016/05
The Bible says to forgive others. Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.”. I want forgiveness for my transgressions so in order for me to have that, I must give it. It isn’t easy. Some of the things I have had to forgive are painful and not at all easy. Some have broken my heart. I was reminded of this need of forgiveness after watching. All of...

Under Attack – my prayerful journey
https://myprayerfuljourney.wordpress.com/2016/05/27/under-attack/comment-page-1
May 27, 2016. I love these little epiphanies I have. I know they aren’t news to most people but it’s big news to me. I have always known that the enemy loves to attack Christians. No news there. But I started thinking harder on why. Why would the enemy attack certain people more than others? It seems some people are attacked much more frequently than others. Yes, we do sometimes bring things on ourselves. But sometimes you see really good people attacked over and over. You wonder, “WHY? Just As I Am.

A 40-Something Fool's Journey. Holding a Lantern Up to Painful and Beautiful Truths. March 23, 2014. We Belong, We Belong Together. I have an intense desire to belong to something greater than myself. This isn’t against human nature. I, and every other person out there, evolved to be like this. Currently, I’m reading two books: why we believe in god(s) by J. Anderson Thomson, Jr., MD, and Clare Aukofer. And Create Your Own Religion by Daniele Bolelli. I want a cold reading. Laquo; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; My History with English Bulldogs. Willingness to Grow has moved! A Healthy Version of Paula Deen Banana Bread. On January 16, 2012. Living in Savannah, I get asked about Paula Deen when I travel. I am not a fan of her food, but I have to respect her business acumen. She has done extremely well for herself and her family, and has also attracted people to Savannah. 1 cup butter, softened (I used 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup of Greek plain yogurt). 1 1/2 cups sugar.
