http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 1, 2015. So, we did it. Chad and I made it through month 1 of #splitaplatelosesomeweight. To give you a quick re-cap, Chad and I ordered in/ate out 8 meals and 1 snack. The 1 snack was not technically required to be split, but why not? But we did it. We used our "national holiday" bye's on New Year's Day and MLK Jr. Day and our freebie day on January 2 (we were just getting used to the whole idea- ha! And we are still happily married, so #winning. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jay and Joni...

coupons and thin mints: April 2015
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 19, 2015. A Final Day of Cali Memory Making. Friday was a recuperation day for us but we still hit up some of our favorite hot spots. A trip to Los Angeles is not complete without a visit to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Malo Cantina. There was no #splitaplatlosesomeweight here! I also requested to visit Sprinkles Cupcakes and pick up one- er, dozen- sweet treats. :-). Still excites me every time! And one more visit to a brewery- this time, Angel City. Saturday, April 18, 2015. The kids ...

coupons and thin mints: Vacation Recap 1 of 4
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015/07/vacation-recap-1-of-4.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Vacation Recap 1 of 4. Last week, we spent a glorious week at Ocean Isle Beach. This week's trip was spent with my family (mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, and another whole house full of the best friends that are really like family). The kids do so well traveling, and I was THRILLED that they chose to listen to some good music (aka Brendan James. On the way there instead of our normal Cars or Planes or Nemo. This year's house ( 2 Channel). Always lots of arts and crafts! Some ...

http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015/07/june-update-splitaplatelosesomeweight.html
Thursday, July 2, 2015. We got kinda crazy in June- especially once school was out- and found ourselves eating out quite a bit since days were free for lunches out. The wallet and the waistline quickly put a stop to that mid-month. Chili's.Harpers.Tex and Shirley's.Moe's.The Moose Cafe.Rio Grande.Mad Hatter and Villa Rosa. Lots of good eating and thank goodness for the plate-splitting. And some of the meals were so good I would almost forget to take a picture! Most of the time. :-). Vacation Recap 1 of 4.

coupons and thin mints: If I Ran The Zoo...
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015/07/if-i-ran-zoo.html
Friday, July 3, 2015. If I Ran The Zoo. I would totally take these three monkeys to visit every day! Friday, June 12th, we took the Johnson cousins on a trip to the NC Zoo. Though it was about 95 degrees that day, the zoo offers so much shade, so it really was a pleasant morning- weather wise. And of course, the kids just loved seeing all the animals. Even the stinky hippos. :-). The "mister" was also a favorite spot. I should have bought the unlimited pass for the carousel. View my complete profile.

coupons and thin mints: Showering Sweet Macie
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015/07/showering-sweet-macie.html
Sunday, July 5, 2015. In just a few short weeks, I will be an "aunt" again as my college roommate, Heidi, will be welcoming her first baby. Sweet little Macie will be born into a crazy "family" of aunts, uncles, and Carolina Cousins, but boy, is she loved already. Friday, June 19, we showered Heidi and Macie with some love, some presents, some crafts, and as any good Southern shower should have, a biscuit bar. See you in August, little one! coupons and thin mints: June 2015
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2015. We're Living with a Graduate, Folks! While Friday, June 5th, was Jake's last day of school, Saturday the 6th was Jake's "Preschool Graduation Ceremony/Cookout.". It started off a little rocky, to put it mildly. Jake (4th from left with an Oprah ugly cry face on) did NOT want to sing the super sappy graduation song. Such a sweet class with the sweetest teacher! We were a little bit proud. :-). Love that our family could be there, too! And all that "extra" money from no daycare?

coupons and thin mints: Vacation Re-Cap 3 of 4: Da Pool
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015/07/vacation-re-cap-3-of-4-da-pool.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. Vacation Re-Cap 3 of 4: Da Pool. It's not a full vacation day at the beach without a trip to the pool as well. The kids loved practicing all their new skills they had learned during their spring swim lessons.and wearing goggles. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Some days I feel like I have an alter-ego. Or multiple personalities. Or both. I love God, my family, leading contemporary worship, my job with the Girl Scouts, Zumba, and frozen yogurt. View my complete profile. A Day in...

coupons and thin mints: Vacation Recap 2 of 4: Beach time!
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015/07/vacation-recap-2-of-4-beach-time.html
Friday, July 24, 2015. Vacation Recap 2 of 4: Beach time! These kids were amazing this year at the beach. They would spend HOURS outside and not complain once. I was just in disbelief but loved every second we were out there with our toes in the sand. Not to mention, our "load" has definitely decreased since the days of small children. And of course, bribing them with Sunset Slush icees every day helped our cause, too. Jake found a new hobby with Uncle Eric.super cute buddies! With no sharks. :-). Happy ...

coupons and thin mints: July 2015
http://jaclynbjohnson.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Vacation Re-cap 4 of 4: What's a vacation re-cap without a post devoted entirely to food? One of the best things about a week at the beach is the extra time. To make fun foods you wouldn't normally make. That you then eat. And buy foods that you wouldn't normally buy. One night we made our own personalized pizzas which is basically like a craft and a meal all in one. And the much anticipated crab leg night. Where we upped our poundage to 13. Because this little one is now partaking.
