Alex has been on an adventure! On the 22nd July I set off on the train ready to climb Snowdon the next day - the highest mountain in Wales at 1085m, and second highest in the UK. I wanted to raise money for Survivors Together. She and four friends strode and clambered their way to the top and back in five and a half hours. There was no view because of the clouds but what an amazing feeling. Her journey has already raised 200! If you'd like to contribute, you can do so here.

There are currently two evening meetings in Plaistow - on the 1st and 3rd wednesdays of each month. They are held in The Welcome Centre at The Memorial Community Church, near the Abbey Arms, Barking Road, from 7.30 - 9pm (map and full address below). Here's what's coming up:. We don't update this section as often as we should, which is a shame because we do have interesting activities, including hand massage, icing fun, calligraphy, dance/movement, days out and concerts.
