Write, edit, publish, repeat. Posted by Tracy Lucas. Do you feel validated? Imagine someone you knew did this for you on a daily basis. Imagine you were someone for someone else. Posted by Tracy Lucas. Why the world needs you to write. Moments are slippery things. We can record them, but there’s no true way to relive them. The Unwritten Word: March 2015

Monday, March 30, 2015. Inspiration Monday: A Home by Any Other Name. This is my neighborhood in early spring:. Taken just a few days earlier, this is a client's neighborhood in early spring:. Here's what you have to know: my client loves her neighborhood just as fiercely as I love mine. More. She loves it without lakes and ducks and communal flower beds. She loves it without a homeowner's association, without a patio set, without any strings at all attached. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Sustainable Earth by...

Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Tools of the Trade: Commonplace Book. As I mentioned yesterday. Yes They're all full. All. Series by Lemony Snicket, and that deserves as much distinction as anything. Allow me to outline my incredibly complicated commonplace book indexing system. Every page of my commonplace book gets the topic of that page on the upper corner, and the right page (only, unless it is a top bound spiral notebook) gets a page number. That's pretty much it. Tools of the trade. Monday, July 28, 2014.

Monday, July 27, 2015. A Hello and a Goodbye. I'll still write that entry someday, but it won't be today. Today, I'm still trying to make sense of the most senseless, most evil, most unacceptable thing. Today I found out a family member was murdered. It wasn't an accident, or a sudden illness, or any of the other things that can take the life of a person in her prime. A person stood in front of her and purposefully, willfully ended her life. Or, "That's awesome! I never figured someone would kill her.

Friday, December 19, 2014. Tools of the Trade: Ink Review- Diamine 150th Anniversary Inks Introduction. Diamine 150th Anniversary Inks. Husband and I received this lovely ink set as a gift from our friend Derek courtesy of Vanness Pens. In Little Rock, AR. Not only did it come to us blazing fast, it also came with a lovely card- a vintage Parker card I am sure would not have been included had the gift been ordered from those sweethearts at Amazon.com, but I digress. I enjoy reviewing new inks about as mu...

One Word 365: Mid-Year Word Change? – Karissa Knox Sorrell
http://karissaknoxsorrell.com/2015/07/31/one-word-365-mid-year-word-change
July 31, 2015. One Word 365: Mid-Year Word Change? For a few years I’ve been choosing one word or mantra for the year instead of making New Years Resolutions. This past January the word I chose was enough. I wanted to begin to truly believe in my own worth. That I don’t have to please everyone or act a certain way or do certain things to be a person of value. That even though I have flaws and screw up and am imperfect, as a human being I am enough, and I am worthy of love. 8220;Threes learn to cope with ...

Held By His Pierced Hands. The only life worth living is a life worth dying for. Why “Pierced Hands”? Where I’m Going, Where I’ve Been. Why I Go to Mass Every Day. Touching His Pierced Hands →. Your Screaming Kids Are Distracting Me. July 1, 2012. And thank God for that. Parents, I know all too well the frustration of taking little ones to Mass. I calculated this evening (when I should have been praying) that I’ve taken little ones 4 and under to Mass by myself at least 200 times. So while ...Case in poi...

The Unwritten Word: Tools of the Trade: Ink Review - Callifolio Yalumba
http://unwrittenwordblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/tools-of-trade-ink-review-callifolio.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Tools of the Trade: Ink Review - Callifolio Yalumba. As much a writing enthusiast as I am, I had not heard much about Callifolio inks until recently. They're manufactured by L'artisan Pastellier, a French ink and calligraphy tool producer, and have had a good reputation amongst the lucky few who were able to try them over the last several years. They've been notoriously hard to source in the U.S, but not anymore. I switched to my Lamy Al-Star with medium nib. This is an excepti...

Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Tools of the Trade: Ink Review - Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-Kai. And I have many a Tuesday when I'm glad about that. Iroshizuku Shin-Kai is adventuresome. Well, maybe not the ink itself, but reviewing. Iroshizuku Shin-Kai is adventuresome. (This is where you're glad I do this so you don't have to. Trust me.). After some writing, I had to top off the pen. This is where I went wrong. You see, Pilot Iroshizuku ink comes in some of the loveliest glass bottles you can buy. They're re...
