I love all types of music with a soft spot for great instrumentation (Joanna Newsom’s Have One On Me), things that rock (The Cat Empire’s Steal the Light), interesting concepts (John Cage), big romantic gestures (Gustav Mahler), and basically anything that rocks for bassoon (Michael Corrette, Antonio Vivaldi and Sofia Gubaidulina).
