Tuesday, September 14, 2010. What $1 can getcha'. So, we've become fairly accustomed to 'thinking in baht'. Style:italic;" (the Thai currency). I remember when we first arrived last year I was constantly mentally-converting baht to dollar whenever we purchased anything. wondering what things "really cost". and wanting to know exactly. How much I was spending in dollars. However, somewhere along the line, the mental-converting just kinda stopped. and we've gotten used to the baht amount. What $1 can getcha.

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Lucas is old too! Lucas' birthday and my birthday are exactly one month apart. and for as long as we've known each other, during that one measly month. Between our birthdays, he gets some sort of perverse joy out of calling me old. : ) Well, now he is caught up with me and the teasing can cease. Happy Birthday, my love!
