AUSTRIA, SWITZERLAND, ITALY TRIP. Monday, July 14, 2014. THIS IS THE CLEAREST view we got of THE MATTERHORN. The whole time we where there. This is the view I was expecting. I got this from a post card. We too the funicular up to a ridge above Zermat and day hiked. There where some wild flowers there too but not as many as we saw in Austria. Hiking around a glacial color lake and then through the forest. I liked these perfect little succulents I saw growing on the forest floor. These are the Alpine Horns.
