Studio 274 Design: Something Dreamy
http://hrt2hrt4mike.blogspot.com/2015/05/something-dreamy.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2015. I've always loved Kim Klassen's. Style I've taken many of her classes, and I'm grateful to her for all that I've learned….photography, Photoshop, Lightroom, still life and the list goes on. I did this shoot and culled these out of 85 images. They are as close as I can come to her "dreamy" style. This one is pretty much straight out of the camera except for minor adjustments. I shoot in raw, so there has to be some post processing. I did not use a preset or texture though. Oh, Im wa...

Studio 274 Design: A Walk in My Back Yard Garden
http://hrt2hrt4mike.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-walk-in-my-back-yard-garden.html
Thursday, August 06, 2015. A Walk in My Back Yard Garden. I hope I haven't disappointed my readers. I've been out of circulation for a few weeks. I've actually been off trying to get acquainted with Instagram (I know. I'm a late bloomer). I've also tried to be a little more active on Facebook, or at least looking at everyone else's posts to the Studio Online group. I've been learning to really use my phone for images and editing those images. I'm getting better. Wishing you a beautiful day! Id really mis...

Studio 274 Design: June 2015
http://hrt2hrt4mike.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. My membership to Kim Klassen's. The Studio Online entitled me to her Studio Collection of presets - about 80 of them. Her presets are so artistic, it would take me forever to make my own. And.let's face it, I'm lazy. I discovered I can get a beautiful edit without doing anything other than adding her preset. Below the original. It's a so-so photo. But with one click of her preset in Lightroom and cropping to square I got this. Plus, the rain smelled wonderful! Links to this post.

Melissa Hall Art and Photography. This blog is tracking my art and photography explorations. Friday, December 26, 2014. What did we do before smart phones? I've always been hopeless with directions and seldom had my camera with me when I really needed it. Enter the smart phone and shazaam. I can find interesting places with little forethought and take so many more pictures than I used to before this addictive little piece of metal and plastic became permanently attached to my hand. On to the techie side ...

Fibra Artysta - Mixed Media Fiber Art: where i stand sunday
http://fibraartysta.blogspot.com/2013/07/where-i-stand-sunday.html
Where i stand sunday. The art fair swirls around me in a blur of sound and movement and summer heat bouncing off the concrete. My eye locks on the cluster of chalk drawings of classic movie posters. As I step to the edge and look down at the shark, one sentence bounces through my mind:. We're gonna need a bigger boat.". Full view of the chalk drawing, it really was quite good. :). I love chalk art! We have a chalk art festival here in town every year and it is just amazing what people draw! Cart Before T...

Fibra Artysta - Mixed Media Fiber Art: collaboration with Lisa Call
http://fibraartysta.blogspot.com/2013/06/collaboration-with-lisa-call.html
Collaboration with Lisa Call. There's only one thing I like more then printing fabric (and you all know how much I love flinging paint) and that's sending it off to other artists for them to use in new ways that I wouldn't ordinarily think of. Last summer I talked with Lisa Call. About doing just that and was thrilled when she agreed to collaborate! As is her habit, she took the fabric and worked magic on it. I printed a red piece of fabric with blue Thermofax Screen Printed. 169;2013 Lisa Call. For seve...
