We get lots done, we play, we learn, babies nap, and generally everything goes as it should. Today worked out that way. There have been enough days these couple weeks that haven't been that way that I think I need to halt and remember this one. Also, notes to self:. Your attitude makes a difference. Friday, May 31, 2013. 6 things I love about my 6 year old. L had her 6. She wanted Malt-o-Meal for breakfast, and that’s what we had. Lunch was a sub sandwich (another favorite) and for dinner she wanted an all-American meal of roasted chicken, potatoes and she didn’t ask for green beans, but we had those too. Sunday, April 18, 2010. OK, so that's just a fancy way of saying "spinach and chickpeas". I found a sweet website called smitten kitchen. 1/2 pound dried chickpeas, cooked until soft and tender or two 15-ounce cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed. 6 tablespoon olive oil. 1 pound spinach, washed. A hefty 1-inch slice from a country loaf or about 2 slices from sandwich loaf bread,crusts removed and cut into cubes. 1/2 cup tomato sauce ( I ended up using a bit more to make it moist). 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
