Avery's Watermelon Themed Picnic Party. 160;Wednesday, July 30, 2014 – monthly Avery. We just celebrated Avery's second birthday and Avery loved having a whole weekend of fun, excitement, and birthday songs and special treats. The inspiration for her watermelon theme came from a dress I found online; thankfully the very talented grandma Kristi and great grandma Polly recreated it for the birthday queen. 160;Thursday, July 23, 2015 – Emerson. Our little Shags turned one! So many changes for this big girl! Ice cream cake was a little cold for her baby hands. We stopped bottles and formula cold turkey. She was NOT happy about this change even though we had been warning her for weeks that it was coming. We chopped off her tail/mullet, all five inches of it. She now looks like a handsome little boy. She takes about a hundred steps at a time, then panics and reverts to crawling. This mullet was chopped off!
