http://atlantalocalfoodinitiative.blogspot.com/2009/05/sweet-strawberries-and-cream-dreams.html
Monday, May 11, 2009. Sweet Strawberries and Cream Dreams. Strawberries are a go-to fruit for something special and any dish beholding this ingredient typically has a notch higher of respect. Who ever turns down an offer of food with strawberries? Where did the berry's insides go? What little flesh exists is white - white? Mushy, and, well, tasteless. Where is the red juice.or any juice? Monday, June 1, 2009. Georgia milk leaving state. Bulk of what is produced here is shipped out. Sunday, May 31, 2009. That glass of milk you’re having with breakfast this morning? It most likely came from a dairy farm in Indiana, New Mexico or Texas, not Georgia. That charge then covers transportation costs. It’s a quirky system that’s been in place since the early 1970s. 8220;It’s beyond our control,” said Farrah Newberry, executive director of Georgia Milk Producers. Dairy farms in Georgia. Short. Lyrical. Sometimes Funny.: More Autumnal Kikusha
http://cacrowley.blogspot.com/2014/11/more-autumnal-kikusha.html
Short Lyrical. Sometimes Funny. Teaching and reading classical Japanese literature, especially haiku. Sunday, November 9, 2014. Today I've got a very sad poem sequence, also from Kikusha. Kikusha's Chinese poetry is very hard for me, so this is by no means perfect. I hope it at least give a hint of the remarkable range of this talented, perpetually questing woman. Twenty years have passed and I have forgotten many moments. Since the spirit of travel beckoned me and I set out with just a single garment.

Short. Lyrical. Sometimes Funny.: The Courtesan Kasen
http://cacrowley.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-courtesan-kasen.html
Short Lyrical. Sometimes Funny. Teaching and reading classical Japanese literature, especially haiku. Saturday, October 25, 2014. Here are some hokku. By Kasen 哥川 (ca. 1716-1776). I'm sure I've read some of these wrong, but here they are anyway. Courtesans led tragic, frequently brutal lives. These verses, however, are very evocative and romantic. I tuned my koto. To the sound of spring rain. Snow does not gather on its branches. The plum tree itself blossoms. Her beautiful hair -. I too, await someone,.
