http://myoldmanriver.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
A View Through My Window. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. At the gym this guy was changing his clothes next to my locker after his workout and shower. "You had a good work out? I asked. The man said, "I worked out two hours and sat in the sauna for half hour. I feel great. I will probably die if I did not do it." He appeared a little older than I, but I had no clue. A View Through My Window: Magic of Time
http://myoldmanriver.blogspot.com/2014/05/magic-of-time.html
A View Through My Window. Thursday, May 22, 2014. A few gray hairs. All sign of time. Someone begins to climb. The old hunchback gazes down. For missing sands of time. And he trembles in fear. By the old cemetery. As he waits his turn. The king falls; some rejoice, some cries. The beggars die and no one minds. New born arrives; pain turns to smile. Winter gives way to spring. Love fills the air. Thorn birds sing in love. Broken heart bleeds in pain. Life, love, ascent, descent. Time shapes us all.

A View Through My Window. Sunday, January 22, 2012. Once a runner, always a runner. After a hiatus for a few years, I signed up in July 2011 for the 2012 Houston Marathon after returning home permanently from my assignment in Angola. The motivation was a self imposed challenge Could I do it at my age? Yes, I did not have to walk away in defeat. I promised my family that it would be my last marathon. But, once a runner, always a runner! Posted by Red River at 6:03 PM. View my complete profile.
