In October, when Zudie visited me in Michigan, we went to the village of Rockford for a day. We wandered into a stained glass shop. I’d taken a class years before elsewhere, but as we were looking around the shop I realized how much I wanted to learn to do stained glass. Looking forward to many more projects! Todd and Zudie met us at the end of the highway (about 20 miles from our home) where the snowmobile trail to Upper Green River Lakes begins. We snowmobiled about 12 miles down the trail to Todd’s cabin. Todd feeds two tons of hay per day. They are now seeing about 500-550 elk daily. This winter in this area has been extremely mild. Suzanne won two gold medals in World Police and Firefighting Games 2013 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Suzanne Enghed triumphed at the World Firefighter Games 2012 in Sydney, Australia - winning four gold medals (Toughest Firefighter Alive, TFA Age Group, Indoor Rowing 2000m, Doubles Tennis) and one silver (Mixed Double Tennis) .
